In today’s world, too many people have become accustomed to disposable furniture. Even the “nice” furniture doesn’t really last as long as you might hope. As part of our effort to reduce waste, we build things to withstand hundreds of years of wear and tear. So, to some ears it sounds inconceivable, or unnecessary – but in our view 500 years is a realistic and necessary vision.

Our studio practice and specialized finishing process is unique. We do not apply a plastic coat over the wood. The minute you apply a plastic coat on any wood, it becomes cold and distant. It becomes just a piece of furniture. We leave the wood raw, allowing you to have a more intimate experience with our work. The dovetail construction is our signature. We’re all about solid, enduring beauty you can feel even when you’re just looking at it.
